Man Killed in Shooting in Louisville’s Parkland Neighborhood

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — A man has died following a shooting in Louisville’s Parkland neighborhood.

Louisville Metro Police responded just before 5 p.m. Wednesday to a reported shooting in the 3000 block of Greenwood Avenue, according to department spokesperson Aaron Ellis.

Officers arrived to find a man shot outside the location and provided aid. EMS transported him to UofL Hospital, where he later died, Ellis said.

LMPD’s Homicide Unit is investigating the case. Police said there are no suspects at this time.
