LOUISVILLE, Ky. —
A Louisville man now faces a murder charge after he allegedly killed a man in a drunk-driving crash a year and a half ago.
Arnold Quijada Vega appeared in court Monday morning to answer new charges tied to the deadly crash on the Gene Snyder in October 2024.
Vega was initially charged with vehicular homicide in the death of 71-year-old Christopher Nauret. However, earlier this month, a grand jury indicted him on charges of murder, tampering with physical evidence, and driving under the influence.
Police said he failed a sobriety test, attempted to conceal his car’s license plate, and witnesses reported seeing him speeding just before he crashed into Nauret.
