KENTUCKY — Two people died following a two-vehicle crash in Johnson County on Thursday morning.
According to a release from Kentucky State Police Post 9, troopers responded to a collision on Kentucky Route 321 in Hagerhill.
Investigators said Retina Meek was driving a passenger vehicle when it crossed the center line and collided with a pickup truck driven by Jason Kinner.
Meek and her passenger, Anita Meek, were taken to medical facilities for treatment after the crash. Authorities said both later died from injuries they sustained in the collision.
The release did not provide details about Kinner’s condition.
Kentucky State Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
