LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Several crashes across Louisville and southern Indiana caused traffic delays Wednesday evening as snowy conditions made roads increasingly hazardous.

TRIMARC traffic cameras showed a crash on the Interstate 65 South ramp from Interstate 64 and Interstate 71 just outside downtown Louisville.

Another crash occurred on I-64 East beneath the Second Street Bridge in downtown Louisville. Additional crashes were reported on I-65 North at I-64, not far from the I-65 South ramp incident.

Traffic was also slowed by a crash on I-71 North near Interstate 265 in Louisville, creating congestion at the I-265 and I-71 interchanges in east Louisville. Snowy conditions caused further issues on the East End Bridge, where Indiana Department of Transportation traffic cameras showed two semi-trucks stopped on the bridge in both directions of I-265.

In southern Indiana, Indiana Department of Transportation cameras showed traffic slowing on I-65 North as vehicles approached Jeffersonville and Clarksville. Delays were also reported on I-265 in both directions near Grant Line Road in New Albany.

Another crash was reported on I-65 North and South near Memphis, Indiana.

Officials have not confirmed whether any injuries occurred.

Drivers were urged to monitor traffic conditions and use caution while traveling.
