An Elizabethtown man is accused of assaulting several healthcare workers at a local treatment facility.
According to a report by The News-Enterprise, 29-year-old Timothy J. Bell was a new patient at Lincoln Trail Behavioral Health Hospital in Radcliff when he became upset about being admitted and allegedly assaulted four staff members.
Bell reportedly attempted to flee the facility, punching one employee in the face and causing a female employee to fall and hit her head on the floor.
Radcliff Police arrested Bell on Friday. He was charged with four counts of third-degree assault of a healthcare provider and one count of violating an EPO/DVO. In this case, third-degree assault of a healthcare provider is classified as a Class D felony.
Bell is currently being held at the Hardin County Detention Center on two bonds totaling $6,000.
